Greenwood — Mount Pleasant Christian Church's Community Life Center is excited to announce a new partnership with the Indiana Parkinson Foundation. The CLC, will now be housing IPF's active engagement called The CLIMB; a program which helps the Parkinson's community use different forms of exercise to improve the daily lives of people with Parkinson's. Along the way The CLIMB enhances and supports discipleship, stewardship and Christian values, with God as the essential component of their core vision.

Matt Goodpaster, Church Administrator of Mount Pleasant Christian Church and Director of the Community Life Center is thrilled about this new opportunity; "The mission of the Community Life Center is to get others engaged physically and spiritually. Part of our goal is to build relationships with other organizations to create just that — a community. A place where people can come, feel at home, be lifted up, all while getting physically stronger no matter the age.""Built back in 2008 the Community Life Center was created for multiple purposes," says Matt. "We exist to bring others together for community wide events, youth and adult leagues, wellness classes and so much more. We are extremely excited that we can now offer an extension of the Indiana Parkinson Foundation to the Center Grove area." The Climb Program will begin at Mount Pleasant on Tuesday, April 14, with an "Open House" on Saturday, April 18 at 10am.
